Harold joined McDowell Village in August 2009 as Assistant General Manager. He has over ten years experience in operations, management and customer service. Harold is bilingual and in his tenure has learned that the senior housing industry is where he wants to spend his career. "Working with seniors has been very rewarding."

Michael has been a chef for the past 18 years in some of Arizona’s top restaurants and catering companies. He also toured the country as a private chef for musicians and celebrities. Just to ‘name-drop’ a little they include; Bette Midler, Ricky Martin, Tina Turner, Janet Jackson, Cher, Kenny G and The Judd’s. He has taken his kind nature and commitment to an outstanding food program to the next level as the Guest Services Manager.

Thomas has been in the food and beverage industry for 13 years, he has a real passion for food and loves to cook. His prior restaurant position before joining the team at McDowell Village was at a similar senior living community in North Phoenix. “My favorite meal to cook is BBQ Ribs, baked beans and cream corn…mmm”. I am proud to be the Executive Chef of McDowell Village and hope to take food and service to another level. My hobbies include playing basketball and spending time with my son Josh.”

Gina has been the Health and Wellness Director at McDowell Village since November 2011. She has been in the healthcare industry for 17 years, working as a registered nurse for the last 11 years. She has experience in acute care, oncology and geriatrics. Her passion for working with the elderly has led her to join our team at McDowell Village. Gina has 3 children and enjoys reading, exercise and spending time with family.

Jay has been with McDowell Village since August 2008 in the Sales Advisor position. Prior to joining McDowell Village Jay had a very successful career in the toy and hobby industry. He was a manufactures representative for over 30 companies and his previous position before joining McDowell was as the Western Regional Sales Manager for the world’s largest model railroad company. Jay is married with six children and two grandchildren.

Kristin has been a Sales Advisor at McDowell Village since June 2010. Prior to joining McDowell Village Kristin was a regional sales director and has had a long, successful sales and marketing career. Kristin has a dual degree in Business Management and Marketing. She is married and is the mother of two boys.

Ellen Dial has been working for McDowell Village since February of 2008 and has been the bookkeeper since January of 2009. Her degree in Business and her love for numbers makes the bookkeeper position a great match for Ellen. Ellen became familiar with McDowell Village when her mother was one of the first residents to take residence in March of 2006. She is married and has two children and one granddaughter.

Chris is the PrimeFit Instructor at McDowell Village. He has a passion for working with seniors, having grown up spending a lot of time with his own grandparents. He gained experience working in outpatient/inpatient physical therapy clinics. Chris earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise & Fitness Management from the University of Central Oklahoma. He is married and has two dogs.

Teri has been the Programs Supervisor at McDowell Village since May of 2008. Although her current position is a new field for her; she has been in the “people” business her entire career. Teri's degree is in the field of Architecture, an industry she worked in for several years. After having children Teri switched careers to work as an administrative assistant and helped run an office with 100+ employees, which gave her a flexible schedule before moving to McDowell Village. She is married and has two children.

Kevin began working at McDowell Village in April 2009. He started at the Receptionist Desk, but has occupied several different roles assisting various departments. Kevin now serves as the Concierge with Guest Services, working directly with residents to help ensure their satisfaction at the Village. Kevin is also an actor who has an undergraduate degree from Arizona State University in Theatre and a 2010 Rocky Mountain Emmy award for his performance on an Internet miniseries.

Rick began working at McDowell Village in July 2009. Previously, he spent 22 years selling radiology equipment in Chicago. He moved to Phoenix in 1994 to escape the harsh winters. He is the driver of our 16-passenger bus and luxurious Lincoln Town Car. “My first priority is the safety of the best residents any community could have.”
